The design of the property plays off the natural beauty of the area, known for its world class world-class hiking and biking trails, white-water rafting, and canyoneering. Nature-inspired, organic materials throughout the hotel include local stone and natural wood, with the entry revealing a custom crafted chandelier made entirely of ancient rock fragments from the site. There are some unique sustainability points in place, too. Walls were made with recycled paper board, and shower basins and sinks employ carbon sequestration to minimize carbon footprint. The resort also utilizes International Dark Sky standards throughout their development process to mitigate light pollution and maximize Moab’s gorgeous night sky.

Another point of differentiation from the other Under Canvas properties is the elevated all-day dining option. Their restaurant will serve a seasonal menu of Southwest inspired flavors.
