Trader Joe’s Wants You to Choose Its Newest Product—Here’s How to Vote
You could see it on shelves this summer.

Just think: The next time you go to Trader Joe’s you might see a new product on the shelves that you helped bring to life. And you can point to it and tell everyone at the store, “Hey, guess what? I did that!” That’s right—Trader Joe’s is putting the decision-making power into customers’ hands for their next item: The newest scented candle.
After so many people participated in the 14th Annual TJ’s Customer Choice Awards, the retailer realized that customers really do love to vote and share their opinions about their favorite products. And TJ’s also found out that people really do feel a certain type of way about their scented candles—it was named “Favorite Household Product” for the fourth year in a row. So naturally, Trader Joe’s put two and two together to give the people what they want and the scented candle vote was born.

And if you’re not familiar with their scented candles, they’re offered in seasonal scents throughout the year (think offerings like Cedar Balsam and Vanilla Pumpkin). The candles are made with a paraben-free, soy-wax blend and feature a lead-free cotton wick that burns for up to 20 hours. They also come in a tin with a lid, so you can take it with you on the go. And in even better news, they retail for less than $5—a great little gift for yourself or for others if you ask me.

From now until Monday, March 6 at 9 a.m., you can vote on the candle you want to see on shelves this summer. The choices are Rhubarb, Warm Vanilla, Gardenia, Eucalyptus, and White Tea (these popular scents were featured in TJ’s 12 Days of Scented Candles advent calendar last year).
Go to Trader Joe’s website to cast your vote—the winner will be announced on their Instagram on Monday, March 13.
